Privacy Policy

Your privacy is critically important to us. At Kidlee we have a few fundamental principles:

  • You maintain complete ownership of your data. Modify, export, or delete anything of yours at any time. You may delete your entire account if you wish.
  • You control who sees your data. Kidlee is completely private by default. If you wish to share with others, you can send invites. You can also remove access from any one you are sharing with at any time.
  • We don't ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
  • Your personal information is confidential. We don't track or share your personal information with advertisers or other third parties.

Thank you for using Kidlee, ("Service", "we", "our" or "us"). We believe in protecting your privacy. We've put together this privacy policy to explain how your information is protected, stored, and used. This privacy policy applies to the Kidlee website, as well as the Kidlee Service. By using the Kidlee website and/or Service, you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and are aware that our policies may evolve in the future.

Ownership

You own and control your data. Your data is not shared, rented or sold to any third party or advertisers, and you control who sees it. Show full explanation.

When you register for the Service we ask for information such as your email address and other information. We use collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, identification and authentication, services improvements, contact, and research.

We use third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to operate the Service. Although we own the code, databases, and all rights to the Service, you retain all rights to your data.

If Kidlee, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Kidlee goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Kidlee may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Privacy

We collect a minimal amount of personal information from you, only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with Kidlee. We don't reveal your personal information to any outside party. The only time we will ever share your information is if we are required to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request. This requirement is not unique to Kidlee, as all online services are governed by this legal provision. Show full explanation.

We collect personal information, such as your name and email address, when you sign up to use our Service. We use your personal information to help you verify account ownership, identify your content and help those you share with know who is sharing with them. In addition, we use your personal information to communicate with you about Kidlee. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Service-related activities.

Although we provide no option to share your posts, photos and other content in a public, search engine-indexable site, we do give you the option of sharing such content with individual email accounts if you wish. When content is shared with email accounts, we can no longer guarantee its privacy, so we encourage you to be mindful of who you are sharing with at all times.

We collect aggregate information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by users (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web pages and our Service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if we are acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you before information about you is transferred.

We also track statistics in aggregate across our Service, in order to provide better quality of service, and we may sometimes share that data in aggregate. We make use of third-party software to do so but we do not provide such third-party software providers with any of your personal information.

We also use cookies (a small text file placed on your computer to identify your computer and browser) to improve the experience of our Service. You can set your Web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Although most changes are likely to be minor, we may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage visitors to frequently check this page for any changes. We may also notify you about significant changes to our Privacy Policy by either sending a notice to your email address or by placing a prominent notice on our site or on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
